Upgrade Porter Cable 861 light to LED

Problem:

You've got an old Porter Cable 861 flashlight, and you're still using an old style filament bulb. The bulbs wear out frequently, get dim as the battery gets weak, and you really want a new LED shop flashlight.

 Solution:

Good news, all you need is an LED replacement bulb.  Sure, you could spend money on a new light, but wouldn't that money be better spent on a new tool?   While the bulb is only listed for up to 6 cells, it works in my eight cell 861.  You can find the bulb here at Amazon:
